Biography
Susan B. Anthony was a force of nature, a tireless and indomitable champion for women's rights. For over half a century, she was the strategic genius of the women's suffrage movement. She dared to vote in 1872, an act of civil disobedience that brought national attention to the cause. Though she did not live to see the passage of the 19th Amendment, it was her relentless spirit and lifetime of struggle that paved the way. The amendment was rightly nicknamed the 'Susan B. Anthony Amendment' in her honor.
